“Recent Work” is a collection of projects that Mehedin has been working on for the past few years. His work mainly explores ideas of home, commercialism, and patriotism, which are best represented is his series “Of Nothing.” Mehedin’s body of work “Isla Mujeres” highlights his affinity for minimalist imagery adhering to simple geometric forms and vivid colors. Currently, Mehedin continues to deconstruct ideas and themes of home, the past, and the future in a return to his hometown.
