This event has ended.

Agora Gallery presents the opening of Metamorphosis: Oppositions and Evolutions, a group exhibition featuring the works of Osvaldo Bacman, Ed Belbruno, Laura Colantonio, Andrew Glass, Monika Gloviczki, Donato Grima, Theresia Innerhofer, Martin Randall Joyce, John Kingerlee, Malvisi, Vicente Marzal, Koki Morimoto, Eduardo Ojeda, Irene Shcherbakova, Eunhyue Shin, and Dave Weindorf.

The sixteen artists featured present dynamic and often opposing points of view in their diverse bodies of work. Ancient and modern, bodily and geometric, unknown and earthly—the widely varying works in this exhibition propose a series of thoughtful contrasts. Through painting, drawing, sculpture, and mixed media, Metamorphosis employs a multiplicity of visual languages in an attempt to blur boundaries and realize the virtue of manifold perspectives. Via these powerful juxtapositions, the artists featured conjure possibilities for harmony despite difference. The result is a site of mutual transformation, in which disparate artists are united by their variance.
