Paris Koh Fine Arts presents solo exhibition Neutral Expression: Choi-Woo Sung.

For his solo exhibition, Choi shows his abstract painting and an experimental approach to shapes and colors. He experimentally plays with geometry and uses vivid colors which represent unique and sophisticated paintings. He also has been investigating the relationships between pictures and reality of the objects by intertwining pieces with mysterious origins. His works include a delicate combining of shapes to create individual lines flowingly. In this series, Choi has used oil on lysine board, a surface perfectly suited for his layered, colorful images.

Woo Sung Choi was born in 1982 in Pusan, South Korea. He received his BFA at Busan National University (PNU)and completed his MFA of Art Education at PNU. Choi is now pursuing his Ph.D. in Art Education in PNU and teaching students at Pusan Middle School of Arts. Choi has had a solo exhibition in the Haeundae Art Center and City Hall in Pusan and he has participated in more than group shows.
