This event has ended.

Pratt Institute’s Department of Fine Arts will present an exhibition of selected works in a variety of media by a selection of second-year M.F.A. degree candidates. The exhibition, titled What you learn while you’re here is curated by Kalia Brooks, an independent curator and exhibitions director at the Museum of Contemporary African Diasporan Arts (MoCADA). The range of media incorporates painting, installation, video, performance, and mechanical sculpture and epitomizes the productive effort of MFA students as they use the space of art school to expand the tenacity of their practice.

This event is organized by the Pratt Artists League and the Fine Arts Department. It is being presented as part of Pratt Shows 2017, an annual series of events and exhibitions that features the year’s boldest ideas and best work in design, fine arts, fashion, film/video, photography, and more.
