Hionas Gallery presents the forthcoming self-titled group show, comprising three paintings apiece from abstractionists Rafael Vega, Dennis Hollingsworth, and Gary Stephan.

This show brings together three visionaries whose distinct masteries of abstract forms and space reveal sublime worlds in which color, order and spontaneity unite to reveal carefully balanced fields of positive and negative forces. Each artist’s facture is also uniquely architectural in character, composed out of etchings, daubs, and brushstrokes, respectively. These varying approaches to the painterly surface, while direct in their own way, are paradigmatic yet exploratory; what materializes feels wonderfully unexpected.
