GIRLS OF SUMMER – a themed group exhibition will be on view at Allouche Gallery in the Meatpacking District. The artwork that will be on display depicts exclusive representations of femininity, and each piece gives a perspective of the diverse representations of women in contemporary art.
Fourteen artists give us fourteen different visions, from social activist, to rebel, to introspective, to fun, to fierce, to playful, to grim, etc. Some of the different techniques that will be shown include paintings, block prints, sculptures, collages, drawings, and photographs.
