“I wonder about plants…the energy of the natural world.
I think they dream like cats and dogs do.
When you see my paintings, maybe you will smell the grass and flowers,
hear the insects buzzing and immerse in the dreamscape.”
Born and raised in Tokyo, Japan. Graduated from Tama Art University.
Downtown Tokyo has hardly any greenery. Longing and passionate about nature, I decided to live as a farmer in the countryside. I spent 10 years waking up at the crack of dawn and toiling in the field before losing the battle with ever powerful weeds. Nature is full of thrills and wonders.
The artist will be receiving visitors in person every Thursday, 5-8pm, and Saturday,2-6pm, for the duration of the show.
