Tamar Zinn’s exhibition, “At the Still Point,” explores the culminating moment when the compositional tension of the work both activates and crystalizes the space. The geometry is revealed by the building up and scraping away of layers, working methodically in horizontal and vertical movements across the plane, until a moment of clarity is reached. The result is a field activated by depth and dynamism, the relationship of geometric elements and ambiguous space.
