The Journal Gallery presents Peter Demos “Horizon,” the artist’s second solo-exhibition with the gallery.
Peter Demos lives and works in Brooklyn, New York. He received his BFA from the Kansas City Art Institute (2004), and his MFA from Hunter College (2008). Demos was awarded The Tony Smith Award from Hunter Collage, and the Marie Walsh Sharpe Art Foundation residency. His work has been exhibited in numerous group exhibitions including, “Refill” at CCA Andratx in Mallorca, Spain (2015), “Search for the Real” at De Buck Gallery in New York, New York (2015), “Paintings From Paris” at Makebish Gallery in New York, New York (2014), “LIFE” The Journal Gallery at Venus over Manhattan in New York, New York (2014), “XSTRACTION” at The Hole Gallery in New York, New York (2013). Solo exhibitions include, “10 Paintings” at David Richard Gallery in Santa Fe, New Mexico (2013), and “Carbon Copy” at The Journal Gallery in Brooklyn, New York (2012).
