This eclectic group of artists represents diverse interests and a wide range of styles and personal affinities. There are however unexpected conceptual and visual threads that connect one artist to another and another. One overarching link is the play with artificial and constructed space - in pictures, objects, and abstractions alike. This may happen in actual constructed collages, assembled shapes, or finessed surfaces. It is revealed in references to architecture, pop items, graphic and optical effects. Liberties are taken with color, light, scale, and ultimately perception. And while each is unique, all of these crafted individual spaces are in conversation with one another.
