New York based artist Miljan Suknovic was born in Yugoslavia (now Serbia) in 1973. In 1999, he enrolled in the Accademia di Belle Arti di Firenze, where his painting style evolved, maintaining an architectural perspective influenced by his Florentine surroundings. In 2007, Miljan relocated to New York City, where he has been living and working for the past decade.

In 2015 he had the opportunity to create a painting exhibition-installation throughout the entire R. Livingston Beeckman Mansion – a prominent landmark in New York City – designed by Warren & Wetmore, the firm responsible for Grand Central Station and New York Yacht Club. His work has been exhibited many times in France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Montenegro, Serbia, United States and was the subject of the exhibitions in 2014 titled “Constellations I-III” at the Museum of Porto Montenegro, at the World Trade Center and Catherine Ahnell gallery in New York.
