Another Land: After Noguchi, an exhibition of six photographs by artist Leah Raintree, extends traditions of astrophotography and activates the other worlds inherent in Noguchi’s works, by reimagining them as distant celestial objects.

In a year-long photographic exploration of The Noguchi Museum’s collection, Raintree found a kindred spirit in Noguchi, whose stone sculptures seize on qualities inherent to quarried rock, amplifying fractures and breakages to reveal the geological passage of time - and set up an extended metaphor for the limits of human existence.

The exhibition will be accompanied by a publication featuring 32 photographs from Raintree’s Another Land series.
