Giorgio de Chirico and Giulio Paolini Exhibition
Ends in 116 days
Closed Today (Tuesday)
Giorgio de Chirico – Giulio Paolini / Giulio Paolini – Giorgio de Chirico reveals for the first time the shared conceptual lineage between the two Italian artists born in different centuries who explored similar themes in their practice. The installation demonstrates de Chirico’s lasting influence through the examination of his major Metaphysical paintings—some of which are on view in the United States for the first time in over 50 years—in conversation with Paolini’s conceptual works, including painting, sculpture, installation and a new series of works on paper developed specifically for CIMA’s presentation.
