This event has ended.

In ON THE MOVE, Dubinsky meditates on the exodus from Syria, a place where she traveled just before the beginning of the ongoing civil war, and where she is still has many contacts. She connects what is going on currently there with other population displacements: from Europe and Africa to the New World, (specifically to her own locations: Cape Cod, New York, St. Louis and Chicago), and to the Great Migration of African Americans during the 20th century from the South to the North and West within the United States. Her artwork draws on her life experiences as well as on global histories.
