Fountain House Gallery (formerly Fountain Gallery), representing artists living with mental illness, announces the upcoming group show Connected/Disconnected. Connected/Disconnected is curated by Monty Blanchard and Leslie Tcheyan.

In this show, the artists explore their relationships with individuals or communities that engender a sense of “connection” (“friends,” “angels” or “allies”) and their relationships with those from whom they feel “disconnected” (“enemies,” “demons” or “foes”). These “others” represent either actual people or psychological manifestations of the artists’ imaginations.
