The Museum of Contemporary African Diasporan Arts (MoCADA) presents being Here…in Memory an exhibition and performance series curated by choreographer Marjani Forté-Saunders.

being Here… in Memory is an interdisciplinary exploration of poverty, mental illness, and the mystic properties of survival. The exhibition features sculptural, sound, and new media installations by Vincent Ballentine, Nia Love, Jasmine Murrell, and Everett Saunders. The installations are constructed in dialogue with two distinct dance works: being Here…/this time, choreographed by Marjani Forté-Saunders, and Memory Withholdings, choreographed by LOVE|FORTE.
