Melissa Tomich presents AS LONG AS THERE ARE HUMANS… photography exhibition of zoo animals across three continents. The collection of chromogenic color prints act not as political statement, but a visual document of animal incarceration as human entertainment.
On her work, the artist recounts from childhood, “There was something about the foul smell, the stark cement-floor cage, but it was even more about the look of the animals that I recognized as vacant, sad and in distress.”
EL PENSAMIENTO EL AZUL

Marco Munoz presents EL PENSAMIENTO EL AZUL painting exhibition spanning his 40 years as a professional artist. The collection includes the artist’s bicycle series, which recalls the contrast between his early childhood environments from home in Ecuador and immigration to New York City.
Describing the artist’s work, the poet Joe E. Weil says, “Marco creates both the anciently sudden and the suddenly ancient, but devoid of nostalgia.”
