Waterhouse & Dodd present a special summer-themed selection of works by gallery artists. Three new paintings by Doug Argue will be on view in advance of his highly anticipated inaugural solo show with the gallery in October. Karen Gunderson’s luscious black paintings evoke a haunting meditation of the sea; Kim Keever and Jay Zukerkorn’s photographs capture the essence of summer with drastically different techniques: while Keever manipulates color and form in front of the lens, Zukerkorn’s natural movements from behind the lens infuse landscapes with a sense of time and change. Jean-François Rauzier’s large-scale Hyperphotos bring the life the artist’s reality-bending architectures.
