Theodore:Art presents ITERATIONS, a three-person exhibition of work that challenges optical veracity and totality.

Lisa Beck was born in 1958, and lives and works in Brooklyn, New York.She received her BFA from the Rhode Island School of DesignShe has had ten solo exhibitions in New York City, seven of which were presented at Feature Inc. Her latest projects include group shows at “Another, Once Again, Many Times More,” Martos Gallery, East Marion, NY; “The Optical Unconscious”, Kunst(zeug)haus, Rapperswil, Switzerland; “Inhabiting TenEyck,” Storefront TenEyck, Bushwick; one person shows: “The Middle of Everywhere” at Circuit, Lausanne, Switzerland (2015), “Lisa Beck: Observatory,” Galerie Samy Abraham, Paris, 2014 and “Lisa Beck: Endless,” Fort du Bruissin – Centre d’Art Contemporain, Lyon, 2012. A monograph on her work will be published in 2015 .

New York-based artist Michael Scott was born in Paoli, Pennsylvania in 1958. He received his BA from Hamilton College in Clinton, NY. He studied at the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture in Maine and then received his MFA from Hunter College in New York City. His work has been exhibited at Le Consortium, Dijon, France; PS1, LIC, New York; Le FRAC, Nord-Pas de Calais, France; Musée des Beaux Arts, La Chaux de Fonds, Switzerland; Centre National d’art Contemporain de Grenoble, Grenoble, France; Centre Georges Pompidou, Paris, France; Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Geneva; and MAMCO, Geneva, Switzerland.

Jay Shinn lives and works between Dallas and New York. He has a BFA in painting from the Kansas City Art Institute. Shinn has attended residencies at Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture and Omi International Art Center. Shinn’s work has been exhibited widely in the US and Europe. Most recent exhibitions include: Galerie Miejska, Bydgoszcz, Poland; University of Colorado, Colorado Springs; Kunstverein Neukolln, Berlin; Marty Walker Gallery, Dallas and Barbara Davis Gallery, Houston. His work has been acquired by numerous private and public collections including the Dallas Fort Worth International Airport, the Neiman Marcus Collection, Microsoft, the Tom Ford Collection, the Houston Hobby Airport, the U.S. State Department and The Langham Hotel, Chicago.
