GINA - Gallery of International Naïve Art announces the opening of its new exhibition, “Around the Naïve World in 80 Days.” The exhibition will comprise approximately 100 naïve artworks of more than 60 artists from over 30 countries worldwide.

The exhibition will include newly-acquired artworks from Brazil, Argentina, Peru, Guatemala, the USA, Canada, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Sweden and Finland, and will highlight the incredible range of styles and subjects that make the Naïve World a heart’s delight.

Visitors to the exhibition and to the gallery’s website, www.ginagallery.com , will be treated to a breathtaking global tour, exploring the snow-filled, arctic life of Scandinavia; the urban romanticism of France; the charm and simplicity of Belgian lakes and Spanish castles; the toiling farmers, sparkling villages and cloudless horizons of Eastern Europe; the folkloristic, ethnic dress and festivals of Guatemala and Mexico; the melting pot of cultures epitomizing Brazil; the silent beauty of Patagonia; and, throughout, the naïve artwork’s joyous marriage of man, earth and sky.

The exhibition, and its celebration of the human narrative, will expand the viewers’ awareness and appreciation of Naive Art or Naivism*, and will afford a welcome contrast to the chaotic life pervading the outside world, underscoring GINA Gallery’s belief that we are at the dawning of the age of naivism, a genre whose time has come.
