The enigmatic paintings that make up The Substance of Abstraction create an undeniably fascinating collection. Each artist has a unique style and yet all of them seem to be touching on similar questions about the world and universe that surround them. The relationship the paintings have with the viewer is an active one: there are questions being asked in both directions. It is an interaction that pushes the viewer to new, undiscovered places in their own lives.
