Yossi Milo Gallery presents WarCraft, an exhibition of video installations by Israeli artist Nevet Yitzhak.
Nevet Yitzhak creates large-scale video installations with appropriated images that re-contextualize current social and political conditions. In her animated videos, traditional Islamic and Middle Eastern artifacts are rendered as moving three-dimensional objects, brought to life with borrowed imagery and sound. With these juxtapositions, Yitzhak explores the overlooked pre-digital past of Middle Eastern art through a contemporary lens.
