This event has ended.

Trenton Doyle Hancock: Skin and Bones, 20 Years of Drawing chronicles the foundation and evolution of Hancock’s prolific career and is the first in-depth examination of the artist’s extensive body of drawings, collages and works on paper. Hancock has maintained a dynamic drawing practice for over twenty years, testing the elasticity of the medium with wry humor and bold experimentation. The exhibition was curated by Valerie Cassel Oliver, Senior Curator of the Contemporary Arts Museum Houston (CAMH), where it debuted in 2014. The Studio Museum in Harlem’s presentation is overseen by Associate Curator, Lauren Haynes. A recipient of The Studio Museum in Harlem’s 2007 Joyce Alexander Wein Artist Prize, Trenton Doyle Hancock lives and works in Houston, TX.
