Sascha Braunig (Qualicum Beach, BC, Canada, 1983) lives and works in Portland, ME. Braunig holds a BFA from The Cooper Union, New York, and an MFA in painting from Yale University, New Haven. She is currently included in Surround Audience: 2015 New Museum Triennial, curated by Lauren Cornell and Ryan Trecartin, New Museum, New York; and The Painter of Modern Life, curated by Bob Nickas, Anton Kern Gallery, New York.
