Pace Prints Gallery

poster for “New Editions” Exhibition

This event has ended.

Pace Prints is pleased to present a selection of new editions and monoprints.

The highlight of the exhibition is Leonardo Drew’s newest handmade paper edition, 47P, depicting organic, neuron-like forms in metallic silver and matte browns.

Shepard Fairey’s newest hand-printed multiples, Universal Personhood 1, 2, and 3 exemplify the artist’s signature style, influenced by Islamic patterns, Chinese Communist propaganda and American advertising.

Jian-Jun Zhang’s monoprints investigate the properties of water both as an abstract element and as matter that flows across time and space. Zhang’s monoprints combine water with ink, a traditional Chinese medium, symbolizing the flow of Chinese history from old to new.

Concurrent with the extended Tara Donovan exhibition at Pace Gallery, the artist’s newest series of Slinky® prints will be on view.

The exhibition will also include work by Chuck Close, Robert Mangold, Pat Steir, James Turrell and Dan Walsh. Coinciding with New Editions is an exhibition of iconic works by 20th century masters, on view in the adjacent gallery.
