This event has ended.

There are many variations of light in a dim lit room once your eyes become used to perceiving the hazy borders of things. There are different types of silence as there are different degrees of darkness. Planets move on elliptical orbits, granting space to each other in varying temporal patterns. Gravity pulls. The beginning of each rotation is an acknowledgement of a return. A movement then implies a progression to the same place, for a planet.

The works in this show share a common curiosity about the unfathomable world of things. Through different approaches to materials and ideas -that circle inwards, to then unravel. To implode means to later expand. A first year is a beginning that can also mean returning to a similar place, but changed in some way. What do we know of the experience of planets in their travels?
