THE MIX is a combination of six New York City based artists. Though the works can be considered abstract, these artists do not just create from within. They are: Critically aware of their environment from the ecosystem (Ken Cro-Ken); to watersheds (Rebecca Allan); to the rhythm of daily routine (Nathalie Guarracino); to practical application of architecture to the freedom of abstract painting (Lynn Christian); to intimacy of surroundings and materials (Illtyd Barrett); to the concept of duality between painting and sculpture (Monica Delgado). There is a blend between inner thoughts and visions for the world outside ourselves; a place we cannot live without and needs our “undivided” attention.
