Grand Gallery
183 pastel paintings, including 15 by foreign artists from Canada, China, Finland, Hong Kong, Philippines, Russia, and Spain, along with 168 by US artists, will be hung modified-salon-style to comprise the premier event for pastel artists worldwide. Awards will be bestowed upon 66 artists selected by art scholar and curator Linda Downs, president and CEO of the College Art Association. On September 18, artist Richard McKinley hosts a free gallery tour and reception open to the public.
