Onishi Project, in partnership with Mymicrogallery, presents “Images of Nature and Nature of Images” curated by Stefania Carrozzini. The exhibition, composed of eleven Italian and American artists, borrows the title from a text written by Pierre Restany in the Eighties for the artist Clara Scarampella. The exhibition invites us to reflect on the fate of the representation and the nature of the image. Pondering on the nature of the image and investigating how it develops and manifests itself in the eyes of the beholder leads to an understanding of hidden meanings and symbolic interactions, or in other words, the true message of the artist. The images, whether realistic or not, become an instrument of knowledge through their illusory nature. They are free and independent entities which act as energy frequencies, resulting from a synergy between the eyes of the artist and the viewer. The exhibition is composed of sculptures, paintings and photographs by: Remo Bresciani, Jole Caleffi, Adriana Collovati, Susi Lamarca, Maria Pia Patriarca, Anya Rubin, Clara Scarampella Lombardi, Tony Russo, Gio Sciello, Dean Stuart Warren and Susi Zucchi.
