ALCHEMICAL looks at work that walks the line between control and irrational nature, organic growth, decay and engineered experimentation. Like aesthetic chemists, each artist manipulates material (oxidizing, crystalizing, photosensitizing etc.) to striking if not strictly ‘magical’ results.
