Erin Anderson is a fine artist working in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. The focus of her work is centered upon portraiture and depicting the human figure. More specifically, her interests lie in the emotional nature of human dynamics, both internal and interpersonal while simultaneously exploring the duality of spirituality and consciousness throughout the course of people’s everyday lives and interactions. Her work has been featured in major magazines and is in the home of collectors around the U.S.

Biata Roytburd was born in Odessa, Ukraine. Her family immigrated to New York in 1990. Biata completed her bachelor’s degree in Illustration at the School of Visual arts in New York City. There she discovered her natural talent and passion for sculpture. Because of her formal training in illustration and anatomy Biata’s work is richly comprised of fauna, flora, and biota. She has been living and producing ceramics in Brooklyn since 2007. Her unabashed expression of emotion provides an intimate look at her baseness as well as our own. She believes people are sensitive to the fullness of the environment they inhabit. In her work she puts forth her contribution in making work that will exist symbiotically. Biata has recently installed her largest sculpture (29ft long 4in wide) at JBF award nominated - Empellon Cocina, commissioned by Chef Alex Stupak. She has taught Ceramic Illustration at Manhattanville College, assisted workshops at Haystack Mountain School of Crafts, and participated in sculpture workshops at the Salzburg International Summer Academy of Fine Arts.

Janet Cook recently participated in a four person invitational at the Trenton City Museum, NJ and was featured on NBC’s ‘Dateline’ program, the ‘Da Vinci Code’. Her work was featured in the New York Times and reviewed in the Times of Trenton, NJ. The American Artist Magazine and The Pastel Journal, have also published featured articles on her work. Cook has also won numerous accolades and prizes in both state and national competitions including two first prizes at the National Academy Museum, School of Art, Best 2d work in show at The Catharine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club, the Silver Medal at the Allied Artists of America and the Gold Medal Master Circle Award at the International Association of Pastel Societies. Cook is an elected Resident Artist Member of the Salmagundi Club, NYC. A Signature Member of the Pastel Society of America, the Connecticut Pastel Society, Her paintings are to be found in many collections including the permanent collection of the Trenton City Museum, NJ, The Buckingham Hotel NYC, and numerous private and corporate collections through out America, Israel and Europe. She studied at the National Academy School of Art and the Art Students League in New York City, with Sharon Sprung, Mary Beth Mckenzie, and Peter Cox and holds a BA in Art History with honors from DeMonford University in England.

Stephen Early has received many notable commissions and was a Finalist at the 2012 Portrait Society of America’s Portrait Competition, was also the recipient of a Certificate of Excellence in 2010 and 2008. Early, a Studio Incamminati teaching fellow who joined the school in 2002 at its inception, has served as principal instructor in Nelson Shanks’ Intensive and Advanced Painting Workshops at Studio Incamminati, the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts Workshop, and the New York Academy of Fine Arts Workshop, among others. He also served as Shanks’ teaching assistant at the Art Students League of New York. Previously, he worked as an illustrator after receiving his A.S. degree in commercial art from the Art Institute of Philadelphia. He completed additional studies at the Art Students League of New York and at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, in Philadelphia. Early was one of American Artist’s 12 Artists to Watch in 2012.

Thomas Legaspi is a representational painter, his work centers on portraiture, figure painting and landscapes. This New York City artist has studied academic classical training from The New York Academy of Art in 2001. The artist has exhibited in various shows and galleries in New York, New Jersey, Illinois, Kentucky, and the State Museum of Kazakhstan. Currently, he also teaches art as an adjunct assistant professor at St. John’s University, New York.

Stefano Losi was born in Lake Como, near Milan, where he was raised and classically educated in fine arts. After having received his graduate degree at the Luigi Bocconi Universityof Milan in 1993,he has been senior manager in different International Institutions, and he is currently first officer at the United Nationsin New York, where he is also President of the UNSRC Literary Cultural Circle. In 2005 he was nominated Knight of the Italian Republicby President Carlo Azeglio Ciampi. “Violent Dances Fade”(Libertarian Poetical Fragments)is a personal art and poetry project created in Milan in 1991, and further developed in London and New York, that combines on linen studies of the human figure in acrylics, oxidized metal minerals and intense original poetry. Following a long series of events organized since the early 1990s in Europe, including several shows and poetry readings in formal and alternative spaces, ranging from galleries, to workers unions and social centers, his art has been honored with two solo exhibitions at the United Nations in New York. Antonio Maria Costa, UN Under-Secretary-General, wrote: “This is a “splendid union”… In the words of these poems I find the same hope I cherish when I observe the World.” Four books collecting his visual art and epigrams, providing an overview of the author’s artistic work in the respective creative periods, were published in 1996, 2001, 2010 and 2013. Stefano Losi’s work has been featured in different international publications, among which a book on Italian contemporary artists curated by Renato Miracco, and published under the auspices of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The author continues to create visual art and poetry in Chelsea, New York.

Daniel Maidman has been showing work in juried exhibitions nationally, as well as having been selected by the Saatchi Gallery to be displayed at Gallery Mess in London. His art and writing on art have been featured in ARTnews, Poets/Artists, American Art Collector, Hyperallergic, International Artist, Manifest, The Artist’s Magazine, and the publishing arm of SUNY-Potsdam. He blogs for The Huffington Post and Artist Daily. His writing on Da Vinci is currently taught at DePaul University and Roosevelt University. His paintings range from the figure and portraiture, to still lives and landscapes, to investigations of machinery, architecture, and microflaura. His images occupy a spectrum from high rendering to almost total abstraction. His work is included in numerous private collections, among them those of New York Magazine senior art critic Jerry Saltz, Chicago collector Howard Tullman, Disney senior vice president Jackson George, best-selling novelist China Miéville, and author Kathleen Rooney. He lives and paints in Greenpoint, Brooklyn.

Osiris Rain is a classically trained figurative and portrait painter who aims to capture the struggle, contradiction and beauty of the human experience. Originally from Waxhaw, NC, Osiris Rain began his studies in the European tradition at an early age. He began his formal studies at the age of seventeen at the Angel Academy of Art in Florence, Italy and later continued in Stavern, Norway under the tutelage of figurative painter Odd Nerdrum. Osiris chooses to focus on representational work because it “provides the most accessible means of connection and empathy for the human condition.” Osiris works full time out of his studio in a historic cotton mill in Charlotte, NC. His work has been exhibited and collected in Europe and North America.

Buket Savci Atature was born in Istanbul, Turkey. She has a background as a landscape architect and then she started studying fine arts in Istanbul. With moving to New York in 2006 she got her BFA from Pratt Institute, Brooklyn in 2010 and she is getting her MFA from NY Academy of Art in 2012. Her work is a visual diary where she explores the longing for once present intimacy and desire. By using suggestive and ordinary details that triggers her memory she observes being herself in various moments and rooms. The room, with its walls and specific objects become the witness and gains a personality describing its occupants. Mystery and humor are the elements she enjoys including in her work while capturing moments of coupling. She is represented by Olcay Art Gallery in Istanbul, Turkey. Her work has been exhibited in various group shows and art fairs internationally and nationally such as Contemporary Istanbul Art Fair in Istanbul, Turkey, Flowers Gallery, Allegra LaViola Gallery, Sotheby’s in New York, Masur Museum of Art in Monroe, LA, Kamakura Art Center, Tokyo, Japan. Meanwhile she is getting ready for her first solo show which is going to be at Olcay Art in Istanbul upcoming Spring.

Carol Scavotto lives and works in Rhode Island. The mid years of Carol’s career were spent creating Art related business. While living in Massachusetts she opened and ran the Springfield Arts Center. After moving to Rhode Island Scavotto opened the very successful business Casanna Design featuring her own line of Jewelry. Carol next stop was as an Interior Designer establishing a permanent Art Gallery located within a high end furniture store. Since 2009 Scavotto has established herself within the arts community showing her work widely both nationally and internationally. Carol had great success featuring her Personality Series at the 2013 Fountain Art Fair in New York NY. Her work has also been included in Dacia Gallery NY 2013 international Universal Art Project. Carol will be the Artist in Residence at Coohaus Gallery for the month of June 201. A selection of Carols recent works are represented on the prestigious Creamhotel on line Gallery.

Victoria Selbach is a conceptual realist painter. Her passion for drawing was encouraged from an early age with Saturday classes at Carnegie Mellon Museum of Pittsburgh and Carnegie Mellon University. Her early years of classes at CMU provided a range of course work including drawing from live models, studying anatomy at the Pitt Medical School Morgue and just enough information to supply the questions she will spend the rest of her life answering. Selbach moved to New York City, graduated from Parsons School of Design and continues to live and work in New York. Her paintings have been featured in numerous exhibitions in galleries across the country and at the Heckscher Museum of Art and the Butler Institute of American Art. She has been discussed in publications such as Artists Daily, LI Pulse and Poets and Artists. Victoria contributes to the next generation of artists as a guest lecturer and one on one mentor to New York High School students.

Patricia Watwood has exhibited at galleries and institutions worldwide such as Hirschl & Adler and The Forbes Galleries in NYC, Galerie Albert Benamou in Paris, and John Pence in San Francisco. Her work is currently on tour in China in an historic presentation of American Realism, Contemporary American Realism, which opened in September 2012 at the Beijing World Art Museum. The tour travels to Dalien, Tianjin, Hangzhou, Wuhan, and Shanghai throughout 2012 and 2013. Watwood’s solo museum exhibit, Patricia Watwood: Myths & Individuals was on view in two venues in 2011-2012: St. Louis University Museum of Art, and The Forbes Galleries, NYC. In 2013, her work was included in the “Nocturnes” exhibit at the National Arts Club. Watwood earned her MFA with Honors from New York Academy of Art, and studied with Jacob Collins at the Water Street Atelier, and Ted Seth Jacobs at the Ecole Albert Defois in France. Watwood has been an adjunct professor of drawing at New York Academy of Art and has given lectures and workshops across the country. She is a writer and blog contributor for American Artist and Artist Daily publications. In 2012 she produced an instructional DVD Figure Painting: Realistic Skin Tone with Patricia Watwood with Interweave Press. Watwood lives with her husband and two daughters in Brooklyn, New York.

Thomas Wharton has studied at The Art Student’s League of New York, the School of Visual Arts, The New York Studio School, Parsons, the New York Academy of Art, and the Grand Central Academy. His teachers and mentors include many of the most important figurative and realist artists in America today. For drawing, his teachers include Alex Zarenstein, Costa Vavagiakis, and Jon deMartin. As a painter, he has worked with Steven Polson, Dan Thompson, Peter Fiore, David Kassan, Alyssa Monks, and Nelson Shanks. His ongoing studies have been augmented with portrait and figure workshops given by Robert Liberace, Steven Assael, Daniel Sprick, and Burton Silverman, as well as landscape and still life workshops with Scott Christensen, T. Allen Lawson, Sarah Lamb, and Michael Klein. His paintings have won many awards, including The Georgie Read Barton Award from the Hudson Valley Art Association, The Katlin Seascape Award (twice), the Windsor Newton Award, and the Richard C. Pionk Memorial Award for Painting from the Salmagundi Club. In addition, his work has also been awarded honors in juried member competitions by The Portrait Society of America. His work can be found in collections throughout the United States.
