The Academy launches its fall season with new paintings by three of its top alumni and 2014 Post-Graduate Fellows Elizabeth Glaessner, Yunsung Jang and Nicolas V. Sanchez. With a shared devotion to strong narrative and an affinity for evoking raw emotion, their paintings exemplify the mastery of technique and conceptual exploration central to the Academy’s rigorous training. While the basis of their education is the same, each artists has developed a signature style that champions the resurgence of contemporary figurative art.
