The exhibition AURA:
Puerto Rican Artists in New York,1970’s-1980’s is a prologue to a more ambitious project taken on by co-curators Marcos Dimas and Néstor Otero, in collaboration with Nitza Tufiño and Fernando Salicrup of the Taller Boricua, to document and preserve some of the artistic contributions made by Puerto Ricans, who have become an integral part of New York City’s multicultural landscape.”

This historical exhibition provides a glimpse of this reality through the presentation of photographs, posters, drawings, paintings, sculptures, constructions and narratives.
