Aicon Gallery invites you to our exhibition Shifting the Paradigm: Masterworks of Indian Painting Before and After Independence. The exhibition features Nandalal Bose, Vasudeo Gaitonde, M. F. Husain, Ram Kumar, Jamini Roy, Jehangir Sabavala, F. N. Souza and Abanindranath Tagore and explores the critical shift in Modern Indian painting from the avant-garde nationalism of the Bengal School to the internationally orientated post-independence movement of the Bombay Progressives.
