About the work
Miya Ando’s metal canvases and sculptures articulate themes of contradiction and juxtaposition, combining metals, reflectivity, and light in objects of transcendent beauty. Ando’s work has been exhibit extensively throughout the world, including a recent show curated by Nat Trotman of the Guggenheim, and public commissions in South Korea, London, New York and California.
