NOVELLA presents But in a loop it’s just a bunch of middles, Sarada Rauch’s second solo show with the gallery. Sarada is a multi media artist born in Los Angeles and based in Brooklyn, after a long stint in Germany. Her work reinterprets traditional narratives using contemporary aesthetics by inserting her sculpture into video, performance and photography. She received her MFA from Hunter College and has exhibited at venues such as RH+ Gallery in Istanbul, MoCA and De La Cruz Collection in Miami, the RISD Museum in Providence. She has been the recipient of The Drawing Center’s Open Sessions Residency, The LMCC Swing Space Artist-in-Residence, Center for Book Arts Workspace Residency and the BBK Fellowship in Saxony.
