Ethan Cohen Fine Arts voices it support for PEN America, a not-for-profit representing writers globally protecting their rights and freedom of expression. An event organized by PEN will be held in Brooklyn, NY on April 10th at the Brooklyn Library at 7pm in protest of the Chinese government’s efforts to silence Ai Weiwei and other Chinese writers and artists. Contemporary African artist ABOUDIA joins the effort and voices his support by dedicating his work to the Chinese artist Ai Weiwei. “Homage to Ai Weiwei”, along with the artist’s other famed collage paintings, will make up Ivorian ABOUDIA’s first solo exhibition in the United States at Ethan Cohen New York.
