Susan Goldsmith’s New York debut will kick off the autumn season with an opening the first week of September. This will be the artist’s first solo exhibition with Gallery Henoch. Four pieces are now available to preview including Aphrodite’s Gate, pictured below.
In her tightly cropped compositions, Goldsmith presents us with glimpses of nature that she often presents as triptychs & diptychs. Goldsmith’s gilt panels of silver and gold leaf resonate light throughout each complexly layered resin composition, creating a selection of work that takes every advantage of a color’s vibrancy.
