This event has ended.

From emerging artist Suzy Kellems Dominik, Beatrice – To Hell And Back is the second work in a trio of riveting installations deconstructing male-female interaction and human sentiment.

Inspired by the masterpieces of Italian poet Dante Alighieri, Beatrice is an emotional autobiography that tells a tale of audacious love. Six otherworldly images accompany a 9-foot-tall sculptural centerpiece representing the physical manifestation of Hell and Beatrice’s rise to freedom. The multi-sensory experience is heightened by a layered soundtrack that leads viewers through Beatrice’s struggle of psyches and eventual triumph, while a custom aroma and the timeless words of Dante become increasingly prevalent throughout.

Following Kellems Dominik’s breakthrough exhibition, Bear Attack – The Urban Bear, the long-awaited second release in her trilogy is a must-see for collectors and casual enthusiasts alike. Much like Bear Attack, Beatrice puts a hyper-modern spin on the traditional ideology of gender roles, only this time with a chilling medieval influence.
