This exhibition surveys Loren MacIver’s work from the 1930s to the 80s with a focus on the unique use of light in her semi-abstract depictions of the everyday world around her. Subjects include the Provincetown dune shack artist colony in the 1930s, Greenwich Village in the 40s, Paris in the 60s, and her Perry Street studio in the 80s.
