Viviane Rombaldi Seppey “A Sense of Place”
Kentler International Drawing Space
This event has ended.
Viviane Rombaldi Seppey’s A Sense of Place examines the interconnectedness of geography, memory and the body. The works in her multi-media installation include drawing, collage, printmaking and sculpture, reflecting the artist’s equal attention to process and experimentation. Using materials from her late father’s map collection, items accumulated throughout her migrant life and handmade objects, Rombaldi Seppey thoughtfully approaches place as a shifting and deeply personal phenomenon. A brochure with an essay by Sarah Schmerler accompanies the exhibition.
