Smack Mellon will offer the unique chance to enter the private studios of our 2013-2014 fellowship artists. The artists will have work on display that they have been making during the first half of their 11-month residency at Smack Mellon, and visitors will have the opportunity to meet the artists in their studios all weekend.
The 2013 panelists that selected the Studio Artists were: Andria Hickey, Associate Curator, Public Art Fund; Naima J. Keith, Assistant Curator, Studio Museum in Harlem; and Hrag Vartanian, Co-founder and Editor-in-Chief, Hyperallergic. Preliminary panelists were: Susan Graham, Liz Magic Laser, Cheryl Molnar, and Ivan Monforte, artists.
