Quest is a project by Joana Gama and Luís Fernandes, two musicians with a well established career in classical and electronic music, respectively. Their fascination by the interlacing of universes led to an authorial project where the piano is the central element for manipulations and subversions by the electronics. Quest, whose homonymous album was released in June 2014 by Shhpuma, results in a sonorous object somewhere between the exploration and the enchantment.

Corrente António Rafael is a Portuguese musician, member of Mão Morta, one of the most influent cult bands in the country. Luís Fernandes has developed is works in rock and electronic experimental music. Mixing piano, electronics and movies they create perfect ambiances that the public can hear by itself or with the visuals by Rodrigo Areias. The project name came from the first movie presented. In New York, they will also present a movie also by Rodrigo Areias, one of the most interesting Portuguese new directors.

Palmer Eldritch is an enigmatic duo. They explore electronic music using microscopic textures, dreamy synths and danceable beats in a non-danceable context resulting in a both appealing and otherworldly music. They were first featured in The Wire Tapper 27 compilation in 2011, followed by a conceptual series of three EPs in 2012. Their work has been highlighted by publications such as The Wire and Decoder. In this concert visuals will be from João Martinho Moura.

YMYI (“You Move You Interact”) (João Martinho Moura, 2007) is an interactive installation, where one is supposed to build up a body language dialogue with an artificial system so as to effectively achieve a synchronized performance between the real user´s body and the virtual object itself. The project aims at exploring a spatial sphere, where the public is invited to develop his own creative inspiration based on his own body gestures and movements.
