Shihori Yamamoto is a New York based artist born in Japan in 1988. Her exhibitions include “Small Work Show”, Greenpoint Gallery, Brooklyn NY (2014); “Bigger Than You” Kunsthalle Galapagos, Brooklyn, NY (2012); and “13 Artists”, SEA Gallery, Brooklyn, NY (2010). Awards and residencies include Kimmel Harding Nelson Residency Award (2013), Vermont Studio Center Writer/Artist Grant (2013), Ito foundation Fellowship (2011), and Musashino Art University Fellowship (2009). She received her BA in Architecture from Musashino Art University, Tokyo (2011) and MFA from Pratt Institute (2013).
