The exhibition features works from 1998 – 2012 which are being exhibited for the first time in the USA. Emily Jacir’s ongoing practice is concerned with silenced historical narratives, resistance, movement, and exchange. Books, libraries and the act of translation recur in many of her projects. The exhibition includes a film installation, photographs, drawings, and sculptures.
