This event has ended.

The relationship between the moving image and the still image is a point of departure for Still Life. The exhibition examines the blurring of fiction, non-fiction, and memory through different approaches — photography, film and drawing. The work engages the desire to map the things around us and as well as emphasizing the transitory nature of our surroundings. In addition, the works on view explore how our surroundings can affect us on a psychological or emotional level. Works will include recent photographs by Maloof, a short film and vignettes by Rugh and new architectural graphite drawings by Taruishi.
