The Kunsthalle presents It’s A Bored Nation at 111 Front Street, #212. It’s A Bored Nation brings together artists who use the banal, everyday, or quotidian as a starting point for their artistic practice and commentary. The work mines daily occurrences as inspiration, employs common materials for production, or is obsessive, repetitive, and unnecessarily detailed. It’s A Bored Nation meets at the intersection of youthful boredom and artistic expression; both roads ultimately leading to rebellion, trouble, glory, and fame.
8:30pm - Small Talk, a performance by William Hempel
9:30pm - Robert Deeds will perform Composition for two drum machines, a sampler, and a borrowed keyboard
