Zach Feuer Gallery presents HOME by Keren Cytter. The exhibition consists of 65 drawings drawn from the artist’s close environs and organized chronologically. Works on paper featuring text copied from newspaper headlines are shown next to simple doodles of friends or a detailed drawing of a fish that together create a bizarre mise-en-scene inspired by reality but open to individual interpretation.
Keren Cytter (b. 1977 in Tel Aviv, Israel) lives and works in New York. Recent solo exhibitions and performances of Cytter’s work include Vociferous: Keren Cytter with David Aird, Keira Fox and Charlie Feinstein, Wysing Arts Centre, and ICA, London; Show Real Drama, HAU Hebbel am Ufer, Berlin; A Theatre Cycle, NOMAS Foundation at Teatro Valle Occupato, Rome; Show Real Drama, Tate Modern Oil Tanks, London; Avalanche, Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam; Project Series: Keren Cytter, Hammer Museum, Los Angeles; Moderna Museet, Stockholm; X Initiative, New York; and CCA Center for Contemporary Art, Kitakyushu.
