Shoving a pile of clay
Doodling with the edge of the sledgehammer
Covering old linens with house paint
My wife and son are sleeping
This is ridiculous
And so are you
For no good reason
I am in my studio
In the basement
OK Great REALLY this is ALSO RIDICULOUS
At the end of the day we make the work we make
And we return to it the next day
Nothing makes sense
And we return to it the next day
No one is making sense of it all
And we return to it the next day
