At 5B Nolan Park, Governors Island
A.I.R Gallery Artists show new work and create a series of site-specific installations to transform one of the 19th Century houses at Nolan Park on Governor’s Island.
The 27 artists are affiliated with A.I.R. Gallery: New York Artists, Fellowship Artists, Adjunct Artists, and staff. The theme of the exhibition is inspired by the location in Nolan Park on Governors Island. The artists have envisioned works that hold conversations with the location and history of the house. Re-enlivening its abandoned interiors If These Walls… includes paintings, sculptures, photographs, works on paper and site-specific installations.
